Develop and maintain web-based ERP systems and company websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and backend technologies, working closely with senior developers in a small team.
Introduction
We are looking for a Graduate Software Engineer to join a small, high performing system development team responsible for developing and maintaining its web based ERP platform and websites.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Computer Science or Software Engineering graduate to gain hands on exposure to the full software development lifecycle while working alongside experienced senior developers and mentors.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the ongoing development of web-based ERP systems and company websites.
- Develop and implement new software features and functionality.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and technical issues.
- Perform code maintenance and improvements on existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews and apply development best practices.
- Work closely with senior software developers and experienced mentors.
- Take ownership of assigned development tasks and projects.
- Apply analytical and problem solving skills to technical challenges.
- Contribute to database development and management.
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement effective technical solutions.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge and stay up to date with relevant technologies and development practices.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Databases / SQL
- Backend development
- Understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
