The key objectives for this role are:

  • Identifying potential hazards and implementing safety protocols to protect employees, equipment, and the environment.
  • Ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards, such as OSHA standards.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and hazard identifications to minimize workplace accidents and incidents.
  • Performing regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive emergency response plans tailored to the organization's needs.
  • Creating and delivering training programs to educate employees on proper safety protocols and procedures.
  • Investigating accidents or near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of safety within the organization
