The Opportunity

Sentinel Africa Consulting (Uganda) is onboarding graduate trainees to support implementation of management standards such as ISMS (ISO 27001), SMS (ISO 20000-1) and PIMS (ISO 27701). You’ll learn from seasoned consultants, work with various sectors and industries, and help operationalize security, service, and privacy controls that matter.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Assist with assessments, risk registers, and control trackers.
  
• Draft policies, procedures, SLAs/service catalogue items, RoPA & DPIA artifacts.
  
• Support ITSM processes (incident, change, problem, continuity, capacity, availability).
  
• Help run trainings, awareness and internal audits; collect evidence for certification.
  
• Keep project trackers, timesheets, and dashboards up to date.
  

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

• Recent Bachelor’s in IT/CS/IS, Telecommunication, Data/Statistics, Engineering or related.
  
• Strong writing and analysis; Excel/Docs discipline; eagerness to learn.
  
• Bonus: exposure to ISO 27001/20000-1/27701, ITIL, COBIT, PRINCE2/Scrum, or Uganda DPPA (2019).
