Grant Coordinator

Coordinates grant research, proposal writing, and reporting for a community action agency to secure over $19M in funding from government, foundation, and corporate sources.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Grant Coordinator leads grant research, coordination, proposal development, and reporting to secure funding that aligns with the evolving needs of our agency, community, and county.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the entire grant process, from research and preparation to submission and post-award management, for government, foundation, and corporate grants.
- Identify and evaluate new grant opportunities from foundation, corporate, and government sources, and recommend strategic opportunities to support WCA programs.
- Collaborate across teams to organize and maintain digital files for proposals, contracts, and correspondence, ensuring accurate grant tracking, documentation, and compliance with all funder requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with foundations, corporations, and government partners; support the development team in coordinating meetings as needed.
- Curate and share relevant grant-related resources, and publications with agency staff as needed.
- Support teams in creating and executing strategic development plans to drive WCA’s growth and sustainability.
- Stay current with funding trends and grant opportunities through ongoing training and professional development.
- Coordinate with finance, program, and other WCA teams to collect data, impact stories, and financial information to prepare reports for grant funders, using key metrics and outcomes.
- Ensure timely and accurate grant reporting as required by funders.
- Maintain a deep understanding of WCA’s programs and remain committed to the organization’s mission and goals.
- Support agency fundraising initiatives as needed.
- Follow HIPAA regulations when accessing Protected Health Information and other client data, in accordance with agency policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Social Impact Director.
