Grants Management Specialist
This position is part of the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy, Department of Energy. As a Grants Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the most complex financial assistance actions, including the development and publication of Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOA), business and cost evaluation of applications, negotiating, administering, and closing out the resultant awards (generally cooperative agreements) upon completion.

As a Grants Management Specialist, you will: Assist in preparing documents for Funding Opportunity Announcements and evaluating grant applications. Help negotiate various aspects of grant awards according to applicable regulations. Evaluate financial conditions and business integrity of grant applicants to ensure they can manage Federal funds. Perform cost and price analysis for applications and prepare grant awards based on established policies. Administer agreements throughout their lifecycle (pre-award, active, closeout, and audit stages) to ensure compliance with laws and policies. Interpret laws and regulations, identify problems, recommend solutions, and implement policies related to grants administration.
