Grants Management Specialist (Programs)
This position is located in the Office of Programs & Partnerships at the National Endowment for the Arts. Incumbent serves as Specialist across multiple areas within the Programs portfolio, primarily reviewing and processing applications and grants from receipt to closeout, as well as conducting constituent technical assistance and public engagement.
In this position, you will serve as Grants Management Specialist (Programs). Typical work assignments include: Reviewing grant applications for eligibility, completeness, and compliance. Processing grant actions from application through closeout. Providing technical assistance to applicants, grantees, and panelists regarding project proposals, published guidelines, grant requirements, and application review processes. Monitoring grantee performance through reports, amendment requests, and communications, and recommending appropriate action when performance or compliance concerns arise. Organizing applications and materials for panel review. Maintaining accurate grant and applicant records in the agency grants management system and preparing notifications, revised budgets, award documents, and narrative or statistical reports. Supporting reports, stakeholder engagement, and leadership initiatives.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 You may be required to serve a probationary period. Complete the initial online assessment and USAHire Assessment, if required Status Candidates must submit an SF-50 and recent appraisal. Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).
