Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer I will work closely with the marketing team to produce and update retail store signage, point-of-sale materials, and other templated graphics for our flagship store at MKC. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable following established brand templates and style guides rather than creating designs from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce and update retail store signage (shelf tags, posters, banners, window clings, POP displays) for our flagship store at MKC using existing brand templates.
• Resize and reformat approved designs for different sign sizes and placements within the store.
• Populate templates with new pricing, product info, and seasonal promotions.
• Maintain consistency with brand fonts, colors, and layout standards across all signage.
• Proof materials for accuracy (pricing, spelling, product details) before they go to print.
• Organize and file completed signage assets for easy retrieval and reuse.
• Assist with minor edits to existing marketing graphics as needed.
• Support the broader marketing team with basic design tasks during slower signage periods.
Qualifications:
• 0–1 years of experience in graphic design (internships, coursework, or personal projects welcome)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator required; InDesign a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and comfort following brand guidelines precisely
• Ability to manage multiple small projects and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and willingness to take direction and feedback
• Interest in the outdoor/hunting industry a plus, but not required
• No prior professional design experience required - this is a training-friendly, entry-level role.
