Graphic Designer
Summary
Responsible for graphic design and layout of materials like brochures and digital ads, using video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for motion graphics.
To serve the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by being responsible for all graphic design matters. The Graphic Designer is responsible for ensuring that all the graphic design, layout and artwork including forms, brochures, leaflets, flyers, posters, menu inserts, business cards, online advertising and digital photos are developed and archive with correct file names and reference number.
Proficiency in Video Editing Software: Expertise in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is usually required. Familiarity with motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects is also beneficial.
Graphic Design Skills: Strong skills in graphic design principles including typography, color theory, layout, and composition are essential for creating visually appealing graphics and animations.
Motion Graphics and Animation: Ability to create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content. Knowledge of keyframe animation, masking, and compositing techniques is often necessary.
Understanding of Storytelling: A good understanding of storytelling techniques and the ability to communicate complex ideas visually through video is important. This includes knowledge of pacing, sequencing, and narrative structure.
Video Production Knowledge: Familiarity with the entire video production process including shooting, lighting, and sound design can be advantageous, especially in smaller production environments where multitasking is required.
Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous work demonstrating proficiency in video editing, motion graphics, and animation is often required to demonstrate skill and experience to potential employers.
