Job Title: Graphic Designer
Location: Washington, D.C.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced graphic designer to join a fast-paced team that creates and publishes long-form reports, marketing and event collateral, award certificates, and other visual materials for print and digital usage. Applicants will need to have experience providing graphics specifically created to support the requirements of individual projects across various mediums, in addition to laying out dense content and nuanced data in a short amount of time.

Your portfolio must show range across:

  • Long-form print/report design

  • Digital assets—social media graphics, digital banners

Aesthetic Direction

  • Contemporary, modern—not 2D drop shadows, embossing, or dated lettering effects

  • Clean, academic, prestigious tone

  • Good use of negative space

Education and Background

  • Degree in graphic design or related field.
  • Years of Experience

    7+ years

    Required Skills

    • Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Highly skilled on a Mac platform.

    • Strong knowledge of 508-compliance.

    • Ability to create infographics based on descriptions of complex financial data and/or content.

    • Familiarity with industry-standard applications for developing print-, digital-, and web-based deliverables.

    • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines and schedules.

    • Availability to work beyond normal working hours, including holidays, if needed.

    • Excellent communication organizational skills.

    Working Conditions

    Onsite in Washington, D.C. 5 times a week, working regular business hours.
