Job Title: Graphic Designer
Employer: HR MGMT 10, LLC

Job Summary

The Graphic Designer at HR MGMT 10, LLC plays a critical role in shaping the visual identity and packaging systems for new and existing products. This role is heavily focused on packaging design, compliance-driven artwork, and creating visually compelling assets that enhance product presentation within a fast-paced R&D environment. The ideal candidate has strong illustration skills, advanced Adobe Illustrator proficiency, and experience designing for consumer packaged goods—cannabis industry experience strongly preferred due to its regulatory and labeling nuances.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Packaging Design & Creative Execution

  • Develop packaging concepts, dielines, product labels, and compliant artwork for various product formats (bags, jars, cartons, displays, etc.).

  • Create original illustrations, icons, and graphic elements that elevate brand identity across packaging lines.

  • Ensure all packaging meets brand guidelines and aligns with strategic objectives across multiple product categories.

  • Incorporate cannabis-specific compliance elements (warnings, potency statements, batch info, etc.) while maintaining design integrity.

R&D Collaboration & Product Development Support

  • Work directly with the R&D team to bring new products to life visually—from concept sketches to final production artwork.

  • Translate rough ideas, product briefs, and prototype notes into polished, production-ready designs.

  • Collaborate with packaging suppliers, printers, and regulatory teams to ensure dielines, materials, and artwork meet technical requirements.

  • Present creative concepts, revisions, and final proposals to internal stakeholders for feedback and approval.

Production & Workflow Management

  • Prepare final artwork files for printing, ensuring correct specs, color profiles, bleeds, and formatting.

  • Review and proof all packaging for accuracy, consistency, and compliance before production.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.

  • Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and documentation for all packaging assets.

Qualifications

  • Strong illustration and artistic skills with the ability to create original, brand-aligned visual elements.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required); Photoshop and additional design tools preferred.

  • Experience working with dielines, packaging templates, print production, and CPG artwork.

  • Ability to interpret broad concepts with minimal direction and deliver high-quality, finished designs.

  • Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

  • Cannabis industry packaging experience strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience in CPG, manufacturing, product development, or fast-paced design environments.

  • Knowledge of cannabis compliance requirements related to packaging and labeling.

  • Ability to bring fresh, innovative, yet functional ideas to packaging and product presentation.

  • Enthusiastic, curious mindset with a drive to learn, experiment, and grow.

Compensation & Classification

  • Salary Range: starting at $70,000

  • Positioned at the top of the market median to attract highly skilled candidates.

  • Employment Status: Exempt (salaried, not eligible for overtime).
