GRAPHIC DESIGNER & SOCIAL MEDIA CREATIVE OFFICER

Graphic Design & Visual Content Production

  • Design high-quality visual assets for digital and print use, including social media graphics, banners, presentations, brochures, flyers, reports, and event materials.

  • Develop and maintain brand identity assets (logos, templates, style guides, iconography) ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.

  • Produce motion graphics, animations, and short-form video content for digital platforms.

  • Support design requirements for proposals, pitch decks, and corporate publications.

  • Prepare print-ready artwork and manage relationships with printing vendors.

Social Media Management & Content Creation

  • Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with JIB's communication strategy, business milestones, and relevant national and international observances.

  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all official social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, and others).

  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions; respond appropriately or escalate as required.

  • Stay current with social media trends, platform algorithm updates, and emerging content formats to keep JIB's presence innovative and competitive.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content, stories, and updates for social media amplification.

Photography & Videography

  • Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos at corporate events, field activities, community engagements, and other official activities.

  • Produce polished video content including reels, testimonials, event highlights, and promotional clips for use across platforms.

  • Maintain a well-organised digital media archive for use across the organisation.

Campaign & Event Support

  • Conceptualise and execute creative campaigns in support of product launches, partnerships, CSR activities, and corporate milestones.

  • Provide real-time creative support during events, including live social media posting, photography, and videography.

  • Assist in producing media kits, event collateral, and communication materials for press and partner engagements.

Brand Management & Compliance

  • Ensure all creative output adheres to JIB's brand guidelines and visual identity standards.

  • Maintain brand consistency across all internal and external communications.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to refresh and elevate the organisation's visual identity.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyse social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth) and compile monthly reports.

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve content strategy and campaign effectiveness.

  • Monitor competitor and industry creative trends to benchmark JIB's digital presence.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain organised creative asset libraries and content databases.

  • Coordinate with external vendors (photographers, videographers, print houses) as required.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Business Development.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Media Studies, or a related creative discipline.

  • Relevant professional certifications or portfolio-backed training in graphic design, digital marketing, or social media management are an advantage.

  • Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in graphic design, social media content creation, or a related creative role.

  • Demonstrable portfolio of work spanning digital content, social media campaigns, brand collateral, and multimedia production.

  • Experience working within a corporate, agency, or fast-paced multi-brand environment is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with photography and videography, including editing and post-production.

  • Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent design tools.

  • Skilled in social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).

  • Competent in basic video editing and motion graphics software.

  • Familiarity with social media analytics platforms and content performance reporting.

  • Basic photography and videography skills with experience in professional editing.

  • Core Competencies

  • Strong creative vision with a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and visual storytelling.

  • Solid understanding of branding principles, typography, colour theory, and layout design.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to take creative briefs and translate them effectively.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, platform features, and digital marketing best practices.
