Graphic/Motion Design Intern

An in-house graphic/motion design internship at BandLab in Singapore, supporting the marketing team with static and motion design for ads, social media, eDMs, and the BandLab app. Core tools are Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (After Effects a plus) plus Canva, with a strong passion for music required.

- Develop and maintain a unique visual identity for the BandLab brand alongside our Senior Graphic Designer and Motion Designer.
- Deep dive into the app and assist in creating educational content/explainers which can be in the form of blog assets, social media content, in-app messages and digital advertisements.
- Assist in delivering compelling and culturally-aware visual content, and ensure on-brand delivery of visual assets at a high level of quality.
- Contributing your own ideas, developing the team’s content ideas and bringing briefs to life to create marketing campaigns large and small.
- Receive valuable feedback from the team and use it to refine your work.
- Singapore-based and currently enrolled or just graduated at a diploma or undergraduate level in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics or a similar field.
- Open to internship periods with a minimum of 10 weeks.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications with experience using Photoshop, Illustrator. AfterEffects is a plus. A small proportion of design will also be carried out on Canva.
- Detail-oriented. You are thorough with your checks and aim for error-free work each time.
- A digital native with a finger on the pulse of popular culture with awareness of emerging trends in music.
- Someone who is collaborative and can form good working relationships with different individuals, teams and stakeholders.
- Humble and objective. You are able to provide, receive, and incorporate constructive feedback.
- A passion for music is a must!
