Graphic & Multimedia Designer
Summary
Designs and produces multimedia content like graphics, videos, and social media assets to support public communications and resident engagement for a Singaporean town council.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Corporate Communications Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate communications, publicity, community engagement, and related administrative activities.
- Develop and produce communication materials, including but not limited to e-newsletters, posters, public notices, articles, video scripts.
- Create and edit multimedia contents, such as graphic designs, photographs, videos, infographics, and other visual assets, to support the Town Council’s communication, publicity, and residents’ engagement.
- Develop, coordinate, and manage social media content and campaigns to enhance resident engagement and increase public awareness of Town Council programmes, services, initiatives, and community events.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, Creative Media, or a related discipline.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, multimedia content creation, social media content development, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Proficient in design and content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CapCut, or other equivalent design and video editing software.
- Demonstrate ability to conceptualise and produce engaging visual content, including posters, social media graphics, infographics, videos, and publicity materials.
- Good understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and digital engagement best practices.
- Strong creative, visual storytelling, and content development skills, with good attention to detail and brand consistency.
- Candidate possessing photography and videography skills, including photo editing and video production, will be preferred.
- Well-organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to commence work immediately or within a short notice period.
