General Summary:

The Green Bay Gamblers Hockey Club is currently accepting applications for a Media Relations Internship for the 2026-2027 season. The internship will start in September 2026 and run through April/May of 2027. Candidates must be able to work game nights and weekends throughout the entire season. Applicants should possess excellent people skills, be reliable, timely, willing to learn in a fast-paced environment and be eager to work in sports.

As a participant in the Gamblers internship program, you will gain valuable experience in all aspects of the Green Bay Gamblers organization. Previous interns have acquired full-time employment with sports teams of all levels.

Job Duties:

  • Help promote the Gamblers brand at various events and locations.
  • Assist the marking team in promoting upcoming games.
  • Work with local media outlets to promote Gamblers.
  • Come up with new and creative ideas to highlight promotions, our players and coaches via social media and traditional outlets.
  • Interview coaches and players during the week as well as during and after games.
  • Cut highlights for social media and send them to local media outlets after each game.
  • Write postgame recaps and press releases for upcoming games and events.
  • Assist with any pre- and post-game activities (Set up, tear down, giveaways, etc.).
  • Be able to work up to 10 to 20 office hours per week as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
