Summary

Maintains a naval golf course by operating mowers, trimmers, and other turf-care equipment to keep greens, tees, and fairways in top condition.

The position is located at the Golf Course Maintenance Branch, A.C. Read Golf Course, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department, Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Fl. The purpose of the position is to provide for and upkeep of the A.C. Read course and surrounding grounds.

Operates powered triplex mowers in the maintenance of tees, greens, and slopes. Operates riding rotary mowers, chain saws, sod cutters, vertical cutters, sweepers, and other specialty equipment having less than 20 h.p. engines. Occasionally drives 2-ton dump truck. Performs all 04 level works competently, without supervision
