Greenskeeper
Jackson Park Golf Club, located in Chicago, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less).
Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment
- Rakes and maintains sand bunkers
- Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming, and mowing
- Prepares soil beds for sod, seed, and vegetative material
- Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris cleanup)
- Assists with golf course setup procedures
- Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris
- Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.)
- Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their respective work areas
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Performs other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- One month of related experience or training
- Must have a valid driver's license
