Pay Rate: $20 -$21.00 per hour

Queen Miami Beach is seeking an experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, excels in a fast-paced environment, and has experience preparing high-quality grilled menu items while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to recipes and chef specifications.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and surrounding areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to kitchen leadership.
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation procedures.
• Work collaboratively with chefs and fellow team members during service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, or similar role.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, food quality standards, and food safety practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Regular use of hands, arms, and repetitive motions in food preparation and cooking activities.
• Ability to safely work around hot surfaces, open flames, and commercial kitchen equipment.

Environmental Conditions

• Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Use of kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, and electrical equipment.
• Frequent interaction with team members and guests in a diverse workplace.
