[What the role is]
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.The trainee will support the Human Resource team in talent acquisition and employer branding efforts. This role offers exposure to recruitment operations, candidate engagement, onboarding processes, and HR data analysis, providing the trainee with hands-on experience in public sector HR
We are looking for a motivated individual to support the HR team in delivering engaging digital content across multiple internal platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for design, strong writing skills and an interest in internal communications.
[What you will be working on]
- Propose new talent engagement initiatives, including the use of digital media tools to enhance employer branding and market career opportunities to targeted talent pool.
- Provide end to end support of key recruitment activities including sourcing, screening resumes and facilitating of interviews.
- Support Talent Acquisition operations such as onboarding, data collation and analysis.
- You will be responsible for loading content onto the LEARN platform, including knowledge-sharing videos, and curating "Hello SLA" content for upload. This includes creating topical playlists and drafting EDMs to share updates with staff.
- Training on the LEARN admin system will be provided.
- You will assist in redesigning selected pages on MOCA by reframing and clustering information into clearer categories, as well as improving the overall visual presentation of the pages.
- Engagement Wall You will craft campaign creatives for the Engagement Wall from now through to end of the year. Topics for each quarter have already been curated, and you will be responsible for bringing them to life visually and creatively.
- Intellect You will create creatives for quarterly content pushes on Intellect, working with existing PSD assets as a base.
- Any tasks/duties as assigned by the supervisor.
[What we are looking for]
- Background in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or similar areas preferred.
- Meticulous, good written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, willing to learn and customer focused.
- Able to work independently and multi-task.
- Interest in employer branding, digital outreach and comfortable with managing data
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in visual communication and layout design
- Copywriting skills, including the ability to create and edit content for intranet pages, EDMs, and campaigns
- A user-centred mindset, with the ability to design with the reader's experience in mind
- Good interpersonal skills for working with content owners and stakeholders
- Basic project management skills to manage timelines and deliverables across multiple workstreams
