Groundskeeper

Under the supervision of the Grounds Manager, the Groundskeeper will perform maintenance tasks for the care of landscaped areas, keeping lawns, trees, shrubs, flowerbeds, and other landscaping elements. Tend to the seasonal needs of walkways and parking lots, as well as site-specific structures like fountains, statues, seating areas, fences, and buildings.

The shift requires availability from 7am - 3:30pm. Day school students will not be considered.

Essential Duties:

• Cultivate, water, and trim lawns
• Operate a power mower, power edger, tractor, and other power equipment
• Daily remove trash and debris on the property
• Maintain fertilizing schedules of trees, shrubs, and lawns
• Assist in the preparation of turf and lawn areas, general grounds, maintenance work, and in moving equipment and furniture when necessary
• Assist with snow removal
• Other duties as assigned
