Description
- Operate a variety of turf management equipment, including
- Non-Utility Golf Cart
- Greens rollers for surface conditioning
- Small motorized trimmers, backpack and handheld blowers for detailed trimming and debris removal if fit for duty
- Bunker rakes (manual) Perform daily golf course maintenance tasks:
- Rake, edge, and repair bunkers; maintain sand quality
- Hand water greens, tees, and other high-priority turf areas
- Maintain roughs, fairways, and hazards through trimming, and debris removal
- Trim trees and shrubs as needed; prepare soil and plant ornamentals
- Support divot repair, drainage work, and special projects as assigned
- Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring all machinery is operated safely and kept in good mechanical condition
- Promptly report any equipment issues to the supervisor
- Keep work areas organized and follow all safety protocols
- Experience in golf course maintenance preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Be available to work weekends, as needed, in addition to regularly scheduled hours.
- Have a valid Driver’s License.
- This job may require repetitive stooping, bending, and lifting up to 80 pounds.
- This job requires work outdoors during all seasons.
