We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Groundsman / Outdoor Public Area Attendant to support the day-to-day upkeep and presentation of our beautiful resort grounds, outdoor public areas, and facilities. This is a hands-on, active role requiring someone with initiative, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular upkeep of walkways, driveways, and public outdoor spaces, including pressure washing and maintaining the cleanliness of exterior hotel areas.
- Removal, cleaning, and repositioning of outdoor furniture and umbrellas in public areas and event spaces.
- Timely removal of waste and recyclables from designated areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Work alongside Housekeeping on exterior room maintenance, including high dusting, removing and reinstalling curtains after cleaning, and assisting with the cleaning and movement of in-room mini bar fridges and similar guest room equipment.
- Support the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for hotel events, including moving tables, chairs, staging, and other event-related items as required.
- Assist with routine inspections of the hotel's pools to ensure cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Organize and maintain the outdoor maintenance shed, tools, equipment, and supplies; coordinate with the Engineering team regarding inventory and supply needs.
- Perform minor painting and touch-up work throughout the property to maintain the appearance and condition of hotel facilities.
- Assist with the refurbishment, restoration, cleaning, and maintenance of furniture, fixtures, and outdoor furnishings.
- Carry out small repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and miscellaneous maintenance duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer.
- Assist with special projects and general property improvement initiatives as directed by the Engineering Department.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving heavy items
- Willing to work in varying weather conditions
- Team-oriented with a can-do attitude
- Organized and dependable with strong communication skills
- Basic understanding of tools and minor repairs is a plus
- Must take pride and ownership in maintaining outdoor areas
- Strong initiative and attention to detail; able to work without constant supervision
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed
