Group Accounting Expert (m/f/d)

Help shape the financial reporting of one of Europe's leading entertainment companies. As part of our Group Accounting team, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting across our international group. Working closely with colleagues across different countries and functions, you will contribute to the preparation of our IFRS consolidated financial statements, support our subsidiaries on accounting-related matters, and provide valuable insights that help drive informed management decisions.

Your Challenge:

  • Independently analyzing reporting packages and the financial performance of our national and international subsidiaries from a group reporting perspective.

  • Acting as the primary contact for our domestic and international subsidiaries regarding group reporting and all accounting- and closing-related topics.

  • Supporting the preparation of the Group's consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

  • Taking ownership of selected consolidation topics and continuously contributing to the optimization of our closing and reporting processes.

  • Collaborating closely with Group Controlling, Group Tax, and other corporate functions across the organization.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a comparable professional qualification such as Certified Accountant or Tax Specialist.

  • Initial professional experience in Group Accounting, Audit, Financial Reporting, or a comparable environment.

  • Sound knowledge of financial accounting and an interest in international financial reporting under IFRS.

  • Professional working proficiency in both German and English is required.

  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, combined with a high level of IT affinity.

  • An analytical mindset, a structured and independent way of working, and a collaborative approach to working in an international team.
