Group Coordinator - CAC Social Support Groups

Posted
Discussion

The Social Support Group Coordinator keeps the social support group program running. The role builds the roster, schedules every session, outing and transport trip in AlayaCare, staffs the front desk and phones, and takes new participants from first enquiry through to their first session.

This is the operational engine of the program working across both Active Living Centres. When the roster is right, the schedule is accurate and new enquiries are converted, the Facilitators can lead groups and the program can grow.

The Coordinator is responsible for the front-of-house and venue operations that support the program at both Active Living Centres and reports to the Program Lead who is accountable for those operations and provides support and decisions where they are needed.

The Active Living Centres are shared venues. The social support group program and the Allied Health team both work from them. The Coordinator is the first face and first voice at the front desk for everyone who arrives, and works with allied health colleagues to keep the Centres welcoming and vibrant community hubs.
