  • Partner with Art, Strategy, Medical, Market Access, and Client Services teams to develop integrated creative concepts, brand narratives, and communication materials that align with client objectives, market access strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and guide copy through concept development, execution, and medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) review, ensuring scientific accuracy, appropriate claims and references, brand consistency, and readiness for client and regulatory approval.
  • Present strategic and creative recommendations to clients, explain the evidence and insights behind the work, and lead, mentor, and develop copywriters through coaching, actionable feedback, and oversight of creative quality and delivery across accounts.

Required:

  • 7+ years of professional copywriting experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences advertising, including direct market access experience and a portfolio demonstrating payer-focused communications, strategic concepts, and integrated creative campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience developing market access messaging, payer and reimbursement communications, and clinical value propositions, with examples of deliverables for pharmaceutical brands, healthcare decision-makers, or access-related audiences.
  • Experience translating clinical trial results, scientific literature, and treatment information into accurate, audience-specific communications, supported by examples of evidence-based copy or creative materials.
  • Experience leading creative concept development and copy execution across pharmaceutical accounts, including collaborating with Art, Strategy, Medical, Market Access, and Client Services teams to deliver integrated campaigns and patient support communications.
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) review processes, including experience preparing referenced copy, addressing reviewer feedback, and guiding materials through regulated approval workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring copywriters, managing creative quality across multiple assignments, and presenting strategic and creative recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders.

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Experience developing clinical value narratives, payer-focused messaging, or evidence-based materials supporting market access and reimbursement communications.
  • Familiarity with AMCP dossiers, payer evidence materials, formulary communications, or other specialized market access deliverables.
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical product launches, indication expansions, or evolving access and reimbursement strategies through creative communications.
  • Experience applying market access research, payer insights, patient journey insights, or patient support program knowledge to the development of targeted communications.
