Group Facilitator
About Role:
We have exciting opportunities available for Group Facilitator's to join our dedicated Group Therapy Team at Ramsay Clinic Wentworthville, on a permanent part-time basis.
You will join a compassionate and supportive multi-disciplinary team and will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based group therapy, complete clinical assessments and contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of our group programs.
Ramsay Clinic Wentworthville a private mental health facility, offers a range of specialist programs in a calm, welcoming and restorative environment. Our programs are managed, facilitated, and supported by an experienced, multidisciplinary team of health professionals.
This role is open to:
- Psychologists (Clinical/Counselling/Registered)
- Social Workers
- Occupational Therapists
- Counsellors
- Nurse Therapists
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring clinical experience in therapy interventions, preferably within a hospital or specialist mental health setting. You will have a passion for evidence-based treatment, a commitment to recovery-oriented care, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Essential criteria:
- Current registration and experience working as a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Nurse Therapist, Social Worker, OT with experience in mental health.
- Experience delivering psychological interventions with individuals experiencing complex mental health conditions and/or comorbid substance use.
- Knowledge and experience in evidence-based therapy models in one or many of the following areas - DBT, CPT, CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing.
- Demonstrated skills in group therapy facilitation and psychoeducation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Willingness to contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement.
Desirable criteria:
- AHPRA Approved Supervisor (Board-Approved Supervisor status).
- Recent experience in an inpatient or day patient mental health setting.
- Training and experience in eating disorders.
