The Group Marketing Director will work closely with each dealership's General Manager to develop and evaluate store-level marketing strategies while providing group-wide leadership in digital marketing, customer data, vendor management, lead generation and marketing technology. The Marketing Director will work closely with four General Managers and have authority to analyze performance and recommend changes to marketing strategies, vendors and spending.

As our group’s Marketing Director, you will be responsible for:
  • Marketing strategy and performance
  • Marketing spend and ROI
  • Digital advertising and website performance
  • Lead generation and funnel analysis
  • CRM and customer database strategy
  • OEM and co-op programs
  • Reputation, social media, and brand
  • Vendor and marketing technology management
  • AI and emerging technologies

Compensation & Benefits

Experience & Qualifications

  • Significant marketing leadership experience, preferably within automotive retail or a multi-location dealership organization.
  • Strong understanding of dealership digital marketing, CRM/database marketing, websites, lead generation and reputation management.
  • Experience managing significant marketing budgets and evaluating ROI.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors and technology providers.
  • Familiarity with automotive CRM, DMS, digital retailing and lead-management environments.
  • Experience working with OEM marketing and co-op programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred, although significant relevant experience may substitute for formal education.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to build and lead the marketing strategy for an established Southern California automotive group representing five major brands. We are looking for someone who wants more than responsibility for advertising. We want a marketing leader who can help us answer the more important questions:

Where should we invest? What is producing results? What isn't? How can we better use our customer data? Where are we losing opportunities? And what should we do differently?

If you are a marketing leader who combines strategic thinking, financial discipline, analytical ability and the confidence to turn data into action, we would like to hear from you.

We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex including sexual orientation and gender identity, national origin, disability, protected Veteran Status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
