Group Operations Manager
As Group Operations Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, inspire a dedicated team, and champion a culture of excellence, compassion and continuous improvement.
Key Tasks
- Provide inspirational leadership to managers and staff, fostering a positive, accountable and high-performing culture focused on delivering outstanding care.
- Lead business development initiatives to increase market share, secure new referral sources, build relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals and commissioners, and drive sustainable growth whilst maintaining exceptional standards of care.
- Act as an ambassador for the organisation, building a strong public profile, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing the company's reputation with clients, families, healthcare professionals, commissioners and the wider community.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, policies and legislative requirements.
- Drive high standards of person-centred care and positive client outcomes.
- Oversee recruitment, retention, performance management and development of care and office staff.
- Manage budgets, financial performance and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement business growth strategies while maintaining service quality.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, local authorities, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor quality assurance processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyse operational and performance data to support effective decision-making.
- Maintain a positive, supportive and high-performing workplace culture.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and achieving excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing budgets and operational performance.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work strategically while maintaining operational oversight.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, solve problems, and make informed business decisions.
- Highly IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using business management, reporting, and operational systems.
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational plans that support strategic objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality standards or experience of working within a highly regulated industry sector.
- Experience of business development and service growth.
- A valid Category B driving license is a genuine occupational requirement for this role due to the need to travel between remote sites where public transport is unavailable.
- Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS
