Role Overview
The Group Plan Integration Specialist is responsible for managing the onboarding and integration of group dental insurance plans. This role ensures accurate setup, seamless coordination across teams, and an exceptional experience for clients during implementation and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the integration of new group dental plans into existing systems
- Partner with internal teams (sales, eligibility, finance) to gather and validate setup requirements
- Configure benefits, eligibility, and plan parameters with accuracy and timeliness
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and account management during onboarding
- Manage data collection, validation, and entry for group plans
- Conduct audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues efficiently
- Develop training materials and provide guidance to clients and internal stakeholders
- Support ongoing maintenance and optimization of integrated plans
- Participate in project meetings and help drive integration strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in insurance, claims, or healthcare—dental experience preferred
- Strong experience with data management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proven ability to build relationships with clients, brokers, and cross-functional teams
