Group Procurement Executive

Job Description

• Implement procurement strategies to cost-effectively acquire the necessary products from a pool of efficient vendors who can deliver quality goods on time.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
• Create and execute plans to expand product offerings with existing suppliers, ensuring consistent supplier availability.
• Assist in ensuring Procurement processes are in accordance with the government legislations, regulations and trade agreements and suit the changing market conditions.
• Implement policies, procedures, guidelines, process manuals and forms to assist in providing definite direction and support to the subsidiaries’ day to day operations and ensure their compliance.
• Monitor the subsidiaries’ performance, provide training and assistance until the desired results are achieved.
• Control Procurement-owned software to ensure full control on the functionality, access security and information running in the system.
• Conduct research to understand the cost structure of KUS products and identify the Price cost drivers; monitor changes of cost factor, such as raw material price, exchange rate, freight charges, provide updates to all subsidiary HOC accordingly.
• Ensure departmental performance in accordance with company's corporate goals. Make sure on time submission of required reports.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all related documents, ensuring they are updated, easily retrievable, and confidentiality is effectively managed.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Required

• Diploma/Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain /Mechanical engineering or other related field of studies. Able to read technical drawing will be an advantage.

Experience Required

• At least 2 years procurement experience preferable in construction/manufacturing industry.
• Preferably with background in importation procurement.

• Good interpersonal, negotiating skills. Resourceful with good analytical abilities.
• Knowledgeable in procurement operations – sourcing and negotiation.
• Possess effective organizational and follow up skills, paying attention to detail.
• Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently, and efficiently.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (bilingual will be an advantage)
