Group Reporting Assistant Manager -12 Months Contract - up to 7k

Join the dynamic Finance team of our client, a Multinational Banking Institution. We are hiring for a Group Reporting Assistant Manager, this role will play a pivotal role in delivering key internal and group financial reporting while leading month-end close operations.

This high-visibility role offers excellent professional growth, giving you direct exposure to senior stakeholders (including the CFO), cross-functional onshore/offshore teams, and First Line of Defence (FLOD) risk control frameworks.

This is a contract role for 12 mos. - renewable!

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end financial close, journal entries, reconciliations, and IFRS 17 group reporting workflows to meet strict corporate deadlines.
• Partner with internal/external audit teams and collaborate across departments to maintain high general ledger data integrity.
• Support and strengthen FLOD governance, SOX compliance, general ledger substantiation, and Assurance Reviews.
• Work alongside regional and group teams to drive change initiatives, enhance end-user controls, and streamline reporting processes.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• At least 2-5 years of experience in insurance accounting, including practical IFRS 17 and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of local regulatory standards, international financial reporting, and analyzing complex datasets.
• Familiarity with operational risk frameworks, SOX requirements, and internal controls within financial services.
• Adept at prioritizing competing deadlines, resolving operational bottlenecks, and collaborating constructively across diverse teams.
