Grout Lines

Position Overview:

Wausau Tile is looking for a detail-oriented and safety-minded individual to join the Grouting Team as a Grouting Associate. This role is responsible for patching and grouting Precast Terrazzo and Epoxy products using specialized concrete or epoxy-based materials (such as Cab-o-sil) to achieve smooth, defect-free surfaces. This position may support other production areas based on workload and staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport cured terrazzo products to workstations using pallet jacks or walk-behind lifts.

• Patch and grout holes or imperfections with appropriate materials to meet quality and finish standards.

• Apply Cab-o-sil or epoxy-based fillers for detailed surface repairs.

• Inspect and stage completed items for the next phase of production.

• Perform quality checks and assist in other production areas as needed.

Tools & Equipment Used:

• Hand tools: scrapers, chisels, pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches

• Pneumatic tools: grinders, palm sanders, vibrating tools

• Lifting equipment: pallet jacks, walk-behind lifts, cranes, suction pads

• Power tools: drills, impact drivers

• Forklift (if certified or trained)
