GROW Supervisor - Six Senses Quexigal Palace (New Hotel Opening)

Duties and Responsibilities

As GROW Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

• Responsible for overseeing all GROW Hosts and ensuring the smooth operation of the GROW programme.

• Plan, organize, conduct, supervise and create engaging and age-appropriate children’s activities.

• Provide a safe, educational and fun environment for all children.

• Ensure the GROW room and all equipment are properly set up prior to children’s arrival, including audiovisual equipment, arts and crafts supplies, books and other materials.

• Present the available activities to each family upon arrival and ensure children’s individual needs are understood.

• Record each child’s dietary restrictions, preferences and special requests in the relevant systems, sharing information with other departments when required.

• Maintain knowledge of all emergency evacuation procedures and handle emergency situations in accordance with established resort policies and procedures, including security and medical incidents.

• Report any health or safety hazards to the Front of House Manager and ensure a safe environment for all children.

• Maintain Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, ensuring that performance benchmarks are consistently achieved and exceeded.

• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and take guest comments and feedback into consideration to continuously improve the guest experience.

• Handle, follow up on and report guest comments, requests and feedback.

• Prepare guest bills when required.

• Participate in the sale and upselling of retail products, ensuring retail targets are achieved (where retail is available at GROW).

• Promote and upsell all resort, spa and restaurant facilities.

• Attend meetings and training sessions as required by supervisors.

• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Director of Sustainability.

Qualifications

To execute the position of GROW Supervisor, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• High school diploma/degree or equivalent from a recognized Early Childhood school with kindergarten/ school teaching background and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational role.

• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have knowledge of learning stories creation for children, latest trends with children and local environmental initiatives.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; I understand that additional languages are preferred.

• Valid authorization to work in Spain is required. Applicants must hold the appropriate visa and/or work permit where applicable. European visa or valid work permit required.
