Growth and Demand Generation Manager
This is a fully remote opportunity open to qualified candidates worldwide, regardless of their geographic location.
We are looking for a hands-on, creative, and results-driven Growth & Demand Generation Manager to build and own the demand generation function for a fast-growing B2B technology company serving leading e-commerce brands.
This is a high-ownership, builder role on a lean team. You will work directly with company leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies that generate measurable sales-qualified opportunities and pipeline.
Your mission will be to build a repeatable demand generation engine from the ground up, combining creative, unconventional marketing campaigns with scalable acquisition programs that consistently deliver qualified opportunities quarter after quarter.
Within your first 3–6 months, you will be expected to take ownership of a dollar-denominated sales-qualified opportunity (SQO) pipeline target, with an emphasis on generating approximately $1M in qualified opportunity pipeline per quarter.
We are not looking for someone who simply generates leads, manages campaigns, or focuses on brand awareness. We need someone who understands how marketing translates into sales opportunities, can independently experiment with different acquisition channels, and knows how to turn successful initiatives into predictable pipeline.
This is not a narrow marketing-specialist or people-management position. You must be comfortable developing the strategy, executing campaigns yourself, analyzing performance, and continuously improving results with limited resources.
Responsibilities
- Build and own the demand generation function from scratch, establishing the channels, campaigns, processes, and reporting needed to generate consistent sales-qualified pipeline.
- Take accountability for marketing-generated sales-qualified opportunities, including a dollar-denominated pipeline target, and work closely with sales leadership to ensure marketing efforts translate into real commercial opportunities.
- Develop and execute creative, unconventional demand generation campaigns that capture the attention of target buyers, generate conversations, and create qualified sales opportunities.
- Identify successful experiments and turn them into repeatable, scalable acquisition programs that consistently generate pipeline quarter after quarter.
- Own hands-on execution across digital channels, including content, webinars, email, paid acquisition, partnerships, and other relevant growth initiatives.
- Build content-led demand generation programs using LinkedIn, newsletters, blogs, long-form content, podcasts, and other formats that attract decision-makers and convert engagement into sales conversations.
- Own webinars and virtual events end to end, including topic selection, audience acquisition, promotion, landing pages, registration, attendance, and post-event conversion into booked meetings and qualified opportunities.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, nurture sequences, audience segmentation, and outbound marketing initiatives using HubSpot or comparable platforms.
- Launch, test, and optimize paid acquisition campaigns through Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, or other channels based on their ability to generate qualified pipeline.
- Build and optimize landing pages, campaign messaging, conversion paths, and calls to action using Webflow or similar platforms.
- Track and optimize funnel performance across MQLs, SQLs, SQOs, booked demos, conversion rates, CAC, marketing spend, and pipeline generated.
- Establish reliable attribution and reporting to understand which campaigns and channels generate qualified opportunities and where marketing investment should be allocated.
- Collaborate closely with company leadership and sales to understand the ideal customer profile, refine messaging, identify growth opportunities, and improve lead-to-opportunity conversion.
- Coordinate with external SEO/AEO specialists and other contractors when needed while maintaining direct ownership of campaign outcomes.
- Leverage AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent platforms to accelerate research, content creation, campaign development, experimentation, and analysis.
