BluLever is looking for an organised, relationship-driven and results-oriented Student Recruitment Manager. This role is perfect for someone with experience in student recruitment, admissions, education or sales who can guide candidates through the application, selection and enrolment journey while maintaining a strong focus on candidate care and conversion.

BluLever achieves this through holistic vocational education and skills training that creates ethical industry professionals of a global standard. BluLever’s Braamfontein Campus, focused on plumbing apprenticeships, launched in early 2021.

BluLever Education is preparing Africa for the 4th industrial revolution by mobilising a movement of 5 million artisans as active citizens. We currently offer plumbing apprenticeships for 5 cohorts of 30 students per year, as well as various other artisan training products such as the MakersHub - an incubation hub that supports small businesses in their journey to growth, formalisation and stability. ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Student Recruitment Manager, you will own BluLever’s candidate journey from application through to interview, offer, enrolment confirmation and handover into onboarding or student support. You will assess candidate suitability, support application completion, coordinate interviews and guide candidates through BluLever’s programme expectations, funding pathways and enrolment requirements. You will also manage the admissions and conversion pipeline, follow up with candidates and their support networks, maintain accurate records, monitor performance against targets and identify risks that may affect enrolment. You will work closely with the Student Recruitment Associate, Marketing, Student Affairs and leadership to improve conversion outcomes and ensure that every candidate receives clear communication and a defined next step.

WHAT YOU NEED
For this role, you will need to have approximately three to five years of relevant work experience. Experience in student recruitment, admissions, education, sales, youth development or managing a conversion pipeline will be beneficial. You will need strong relationship-building, organisation and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple candidates, deadlines and recruitment cycles. Experience working with trackers, CRM platforms or reporting systems is important.
