Growth Marketing Lead

About Vistera
Vistera is the complete legal, HR and finance support system for modern businesses. Senior experts do the work, accelerated by AI, at a fixed price.

We replace the billable hour with the delivered outcome. A client brings a question, and an expert picks up the file the same business day. Vero, our AI, does the intake, research and prep. Before any outcome reaches the client, a senior expert in the province of the matter reviews it and signs off.

Get it right. Just ask.

Vistera launched in August 2026 and serves businesses in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. We're part of Spraggs Group, which has supported Canadian businesses for 55 years.

Location: Coquitlam, BC
Position Type: Full-time, In-office (flexible)
Department: Marketing (Revenue)
Reports to: VP, Revenue & US Operations
Compensation: $100,000-$110,000/year

About the role
You own growth marketing for Vistera: the plan, the channels and the results. It has three objectives:
  • Growth: grow our client base across paid, owned and earned media. Today that means landing Pay As You Go clients and expanding them into Standard and Premium subscriptions. Over time it means driving subscription demand directly and growing recurring revenue.
  • Brand: own how Vistera looks, sounds and speaks, including creative, messaging and copy.
  • Events: decide where Vistera shows up, and make sure we get noticed when we do.
You lead our marketing pod with our Marketing Specialist, who owns our digital presence, outbound email and conversion. You set direction and priorities, and you work hand in hand on execution. You report to the VP, Revenue & US Operations.

This is a hands-on role.

What success looks like in your first 6 to 12 months

Targets are set in the quarterly marketing plan. These are the measures you are accountable for.
Growth
  • Land: Pay As You Go signups growing each month against plan
  • Expand: a rising share of Pay As You Go clients moving onto Standard or Premium, and marketing-sourced recurring revenue growing each quarter
  • Channel mix: every paid channel evaluated on cost per paid client, with investment concentrated behind the winners by 12 months
  • Efficiency: cost per signup and cost per paid client falling across paid channels, with creative, targeting and channel changes tied to the results
  • Visibility: signups, paid clients and recurring revenue attributed by channel, automatically
  • Social: audience and engagement with business owners growing, with signups and inbound attributed to social and a weekly executive posting cadence held
Brand
  • Foundation: brand guidelines and messaging framework refreshed within your first 90 days
  • Testing: a steady creative testing cadence, with each month's results shaping the next round
  • Enablement: data sheets, demos and client success stories the sales team uses in live deals
  • Coverage: earned media each quarter, turned into social and paid content
Events
  • Plan: an events calendar set a quarter ahead across both tracks, with clear objectives
  • Return: every event measured against its cost on signups, meetings and pipeline
  • Presence: executive speaking or panel slots secured at our priority events

What you bring
  • 4 or more years in growth, performance, brand or field marketing for small businesses or B2B
  • Experience directing paid media across multiple channels through agencies or vendors: targeting, creative and copy that measurably improved performance
  • A track record of choosing channels with data: testing new ones, cutting what doesn't convert
  • Experience growing both self-serve signups and subscription revenue
  • A track record of growing social accounts, with the numbers to prove it
  • Experience shaping or evolving a brand and its messaging
  • Strong writing, including in someone else's voice
  • A portfolio with a clear point of view that shows range across ads, social and sales collateral (including product demo videos), and the speed of your testing
  • An AI-first workflow: you already use Claude or similar tools to produce creative and copy fast
  • Experience planning and running events, including tactics that got a smaller brand noticed
  • Comfort with numbers: you know your cost per paid client and can explain why it moved
  • Experience directing other people's work with clear priorities and useful feedback
  • Ownership in a startup with limited process
