Growth Marketing Manager
About the job
About Juno
Juno leverages collective bargaining power to secure better student loan rates for higher education students. With 290,000+ members and over $2B in negotiated loan volume, we've proven that group buying works. We are the most popular way to pay for the world's top graduate programs, and we're building the digital acquisition engine to match.
The Problem
Federal lending reforms have created a significant market shift. In July 2026, new caps on federal graduate loans, including the elimination of Grad PLUS for new students, came into effect, leaving millions of students with significant funding gaps. Students need transparent, competitive private options.
The demand is there. Our job is to reach every student who needs us, wherever they are.
Your Mission
We’ve built a profitable paid acquisition engine and we're expanding it aggressively: across platforms and across formats.
You'll own that expansion. Paid social and search, Reddit, creators and influencers, SEO and AEO. Your mandate is to find where higher education students are actually forming opinions about how to pay for school, and get Juno in front of them. You'll have real budget, a wide surface area, and a short distance between your idea and a live test.
What You'll Do
- Run campaign management across paid platforms: Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, and creator spend. Build, launch, read, cut, scale, repeat.
- Expand the channel portfolio. Design and run the experiments that tell us where the next chunk of profitable growth comes from, and turn the winners into repeatable motions.
- Build brand presence, not just clicks. Students research student loan decisions for months. Own the surfaces where that research happens, so Juno is the name they already trust when they're ready.
What We Offer
Compensation: $90,000 to $125,000, plus variable compensation tied to performance metrics.
Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and retirement matching.
What We're Looking For
- Background: 2 to 7 years in growth marketing, or 2 to 4 years in management consulting or similar if you've built a growth motion from scratch.
- An experimenter. Your best wins started as ideas nobody else thought were worth testing, and you had to push to get them run.
- Hands-on paid experience. You've built, launched, and cut campaigns yourself, not just reported on how they performed.
- Analytical judgment. You can build a defensible case from incomplete data and distinguish what it proves from what it implies.
- Technical leverage. When the tool you need doesn't exist, you build it. AI tooling and APIs are how you already work.
The X-Factor
- You're scrappy: you'll try the thing that might not work before you write the deck about it.
- You think in systems: you'd rather build the process once than do the thing by hand ten times.
Interview process
Intro chat with the hiring manager, a case study exercise, cross-functional conversations with senior leadership, and references.
