About the Role

LumiQ is hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to own how we acquire customers: paid and organic, B2B and self-serve, across Canada, the US, and the UK. You’ll report directly to the VP of Product & Marketing, owning channel strategy and execution within a set budget, and partnering on how we measure what’s working.

You'll set the strategy and stay in the work. That means building campaigns, running experiments, and digging into the data yourself, with a bench of specialist contractors executing alongside you and a Data & Business Systems team behind you on a modern data stack.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Own acquisition across paid (Google, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn) and organic (SEO, GEO, and content distribution) for both sides of the business: sales-led and self-serve.

  • Work with Data & Business Systems on attribution: CAC and payback by motion, channel ROI, funnel performance from trial signup through qualified pipeline. Use the insights to optimize channel spend and performance.

  • Track and report on what marketing tactics are driving growth, so the VP of Product & Marketing has clear numbers for leadership and the board.

  • Manage spend within your allocated channel budget, and flag reallocation opportunities across channels with data to back it up.

  • Direct our contractor bench of paid media, SEO/GEO, and content distribution specialists. You set the briefs, budgets, and targets; they execute.

  • Run channel execution for B2C & B2B campaigns. Campaign strategy and content come from the broader marketing team (events, partnerships, lifecycle, product marketing); the channels that carry them are yours.

  • Keep an experimentation cadence going across channels, including the AI-driven surfaces where discovery is heading.

  • Keep an eye on how your channel and campaign choices build (or erode) brand awareness over time.

  • When you see an opportunity, test net-new prospecting motions. For example account-based marketing (ABM) through paid ads.

Who You Are:

  • You've spent several years in growth, performance, or acquisition marketing, including time running sales-led and self-serve motions.

  • You're hands-on in paid media and genuinely literate in SEO, including how AI-driven discovery is rewriting it.

  • You've built attribution or marketing measurement from raw inputs before: GA4, product analytics, CRM data, warehouse tables. Not just read the platform dashboards.

  • You can reason about payback windows and make trade-offs between two businesses with very different economics, and explain your decisions in plain language.

  • You've directed contractors or agencies before and you like the orchestrator seat. You work easily across marketing, product, sales, and data.

  • A function with an evolving playbook sounds like fun, not a red flag.

Preferred:
  • Acquisition experience across multiple regions, ideally Canada, the US, and the UK.

  • Familiarity with our stack or close equivalents: Salesforce, Salesloft, Iterable, Clay, Mixpanel, GA4, and a Snowflake-based warehouse.

  • Time in SaaS, EdTech, or subscription businesses.

The expected base salary for this position is: CAD $130,000 - $140,000. Salary is based on a number of factors including market conditions, location and may vary depending on job-related skills and experience.

If you think your experience is most of the way there, we’d still love to meet you!

Please note this is a flexible hybrid role based out of Toronto, Canada. Employees will be expected to be able to commute to the office 2 times a week. However, for training & onboarding purposes, the in-office expectation time will increase.

Benefits and Perks:
- Health Benefits are available after 3 months with us, including a yearly health spending account. You'll also have access to an Employee Assistance Program for additional support if needed.
- Hybrid Work Style: The best of both worlds. Enjoy remote work and a downtown Toronto office with snacks, events, and ping pong.
- Monthly team social events: (Super Smash Bro party, hot chocolate bar, Blue Jays game, Hot One's Challenge are just a few examples of what we have done in the past).
- Schedule flexibility: We know our employees have lives outside of work and don’t mind if you need to run to a mid-day doctor's appointment or pick up a kid early from school!
