Location & Work Model

Our technology team operates under a "remote-first" model, which means we work from home and can live anywhere in Brazil. We also offer the option of working from our São Paulo office. Furthermore, we offer the Work From Anywhere program, allowing you to work from any country for up to 90 days a year, ensuring you have the flexibility to do the best work of your career.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a core driver of our technical execution. Here, you won't just "maintain old systems" or "take tickets." We are an organization of builders guided by deep technical density. You will use our Leadership Principles, like Dive Deep and Make it Great, to solve high-impact distribution problems and build the systems of our next decade.

We believe that technology scales execution, but senior talent scales judgment. You will be at the forefront of our AI-First pivot, designing highly scalable, resilient systems capable of supporting low-latency conversational journeys, heavy microservices orchestration, and real-time ML processing.

Our Tech Stack: We work with Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Go, Python, React, and more, primarily hosted on AWS. Our daily workflow also incorporates various AI tools, including Claude Code.

Position & Technical Challenges

We hire Senior Software Engineers through a unified selection process for multiple engineering teams.

At the final stage, you'll have the opportunity to explore which team best matches your experience and interests, alongside our hiring needs.

Key Responsabilities

• Build at Scale: Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and resilient microservices capable of handling our 50M+ monthly accesses and high-concurrency environments.
• AI-First Integration: Actively participate in the architectural evolution of our platform, paving the road to integrate robust backend systems with our new AI/LLM conversational capabilities and massive data ecosystems.
• End-to-End Ownership: Be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle: definition, development, testing, production, and maintenance. Adopt an "owner's mindset", creating observability and taking proactive actions on post-mortems.
• Quality Guardian: Be a guardian of your team's delivery quality by reinforcing the adoption of excellent software development practices, participating rigorously in code and design reviews.
• Mentorship: Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, raising the technical bar of your team and sharing knowledge across our teams.

What we are looking for

• Solid experience building and evolving software architecture from the ground up for high-volume, distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of database design, evolution, and complex data modeling.
• Skilled in creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, with a strong grasp of system integration.
• Experience with tools and practices for software monitoring, observability, and performance tracking (Datadog, New Relic, etc.).
• A true builder mindset: strong problem-solving skills, seeking to learn, and aiming to deliver real impact through high-quality, data-driven software.
• Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English.

You'll stand out if you:

• Have experience with cloud service platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Have knowledge of containers and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Understand event-driven architectures and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Have prior experience or strong interest in integrating applications with LLMs, AI agents, or heavy data pipelines.
