GSA- Front Office
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused GSA (Guest Service Associate) - Front Office to join our dynamic team in Mysuru, India. - Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a positive and professional first impression of our hotel
- Efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, events, and amenities to assist guests effectively
- Collaborate seamlessly with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure cohesive guest experiences
- Process room reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately using the hotel management system
- Handle cash transactions with precision and maintain accurate financial records and reconciliation
- Keep the front desk area organized, clean, and presentable at all times, reflecting our commitment to excellence
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency
- Adapt flexibly to changing priorities and guest needs, demonstrating resilience and decisiveness
- Provide personalized recommendations and local insights to enhance guest stays and encourage repeat visits
- Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a front office, guest services, or similar hospitality role
- Excellent reading, writing, and verbal proficiency in English language
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle guest concerns with grace and professionalism
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to speak additional languages and basic understanding of local languages (preferred)
- Customer service certification or hospitality training (preferred)
- Experience with PMS (Property Management System) platforms (preferred)
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Fluency in English
Additional languages are a plus
