GTM Engineer
About the Role
This is a founding-team GTM Engineer role at a seed-stage AI infrastructure and developer tools company building the communication layer for AI agents. You'll own the entire growth data layer and outbound engine from day one — a high-agency, build-and-own position for someone who wants to invent a market rather than run an existing playbook.
What You'll Do
Own the growth data layer end to end: instrument the funnel, enrich every signup, and build dashboards that serve as the company's source of truth.
Turn top customers into pipeline through lookalike modeling, automated outbound, LinkedIn plays, and surfacing champions inside existing accounts.
Run PLG experiments across content, integrations, backlinks, and paid channels — then double down on what drives signups.
Connect the GTM stack through APIs, webhooks, and automation so data flows cleanly between analytics, CRM, enrichment providers, and outbound tooling.
Own tooling decisions — decide what stays, what goes, and what gets built.
Ship AI-powered internal tools from prototype through rollout and drive team-wide adoption.
What We're Looking For
3+ years in a GTM Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role.
Proficiency in at least one language (Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, or similar) with production code or projects to show for it.
Strong technical foundation in CS, data science, or equivalent — comfortable wiring APIs, writing scripts, and working with AI coding tools.
Hands-on experience designing and owning a growth data layer, dashboards, and data pipelines connecting analytics platforms, CRMs, enrichment providers, and outbound tools.
Experience running PLG growth experiments: A/B testing, content, integrations, backlinks, paid channels, and lookalike modeling for outbound.
Ability to ship AI-powered internal tools and see systems through from prototype to governed rollout.
Experience with REST/GraphQL API design and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
High agency in ambiguity — you spot what's broken, form an opinion, and fix it without waiting to be asked.
Organized enough that the systems you build don't rot; clean data is a discipline, not an afterthought.
Bonus: Experience with Clay, n8n, enrichment waterfalls, or sending infrastructure; PostHog fluency; time spent at a technical PLG company.
