About the Team
The RevOps team owns the systems layer, operations & automation that supports Telnyx's growth engine. Historically, that meant administering 3rd party GTM tools used by humans: CRM, marketing automation, enrichment vendors, routing, campaign workflows, reporting, and vendor integrations.
That operating model is changing. Telnyx is increasingly building AI agents and automation that interact directly with the GTM stack. The systems team now needs to support both human-facing workflows and bot-facing infrastructure: clean data, reliable integrations, durable automations, documented process, and scalable operating patterns.
The Role
Telnyx is building the next generation of its go-to-market operating system: a trusted, automated systems layer where revenue teams and AI agents can work from clean data, clear business rules, and safe workflow surfaces.
We are hiring a Technical Program Manager, GTM Systems & Automation to lead the cross-functional programs that make that operating model real. You will connect business needs to technical execution across RevOps, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Data, Product, and Engineering. You will establish the roadmap, requirements, milestones, dependencies, decisions, controls, and adoption plans required to move complex systems work from ambiguity to durable outcomes.
This is a technical, hands-on program leadership role - not a ticket-queue administrator and not a traditional product management position. You will understand the systems deeply enough to challenge assumptions, debug workflows, define safe operating patterns, and partner credibly with engineers while remaining accountable for end-to-end program delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead complex GTM systems, workflow-engineering, and automation programs from discovery and current-state mapping through design, delivery, launch, adoption, measurement, and iteration.
- Translate revenue workflows and user pain points into implementation-ready technical requirements, including system logic, data flows, integrations, owners, dependencies, risks, decisions, and measurable success criteria.
- Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap across CRM architecture, lead and account routing, enrichment, lifecycle automation, attribution, handoffs, service-order workflows, reporting dependencies, and AI-agent readiness.
- Create operating mechanisms that keep technical programs moving: intake and prioritization, decision forums, status reporting, risk escalation, change control, launch readiness, and post-launch review.
- Coordinate technical and business workstreams across RevOps, Engineering, Data, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Security, and external vendors.
- Lead critical systems migrations and workflow redesigns with explicit cutover plans, data validation, business continuity, rollback paths, training, adoption measures, and support models.
- Define safe patterns for AI agents operating in GTM systems, including context, tools, permissions, approval gates, observability, auditability, exception handling, and human escalation.
- Make agentic execution your default operating mode, using AI agents to accelerate system discovery, technical requirements, prototyping, validation, documentation, QA, and implementation while helping shape GTM systems that are easier for both humans and agents to operate.
- Identify where manual work, vendor glue, or unclear ownership should become durable automation, owned system logic, internal tooling, or an agent-assisted workflow.
- Ensure every launch has documented business rules, system ownership, monitoring, support paths, downstream reporting impacts, and measurable operational outcomes.
- Manage vendor and tooling dependencies where they affect architecture, extensibility, reliability, security, cost, implementation timing, or roadmap decisions.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, GTM systems, revenue operations, business systems, GTM engineering, or a closely related technical operations discipline.
- A track record leading cross-functional systems programs with multiple business stakeholders and engineering or data teams.
- Strong hands-on fluency with Salesforce or HubSpot and a practical understanding of CRM data models, automation architecture, integrations, permissions, and reporting dependencies.
- Experience leading high-impact software migrations or workflow transformations involving critical end-user processes, data integrity, and minimal operational disruption.
- Ability to reason about APIs, webhooks, event and data flows, system integrations, automation tools, technical documentation, and implementation tradeoffs.
- Experience identifying and resolving integration failures, field-sync issues, routing errors, broken handoffs, data-quality problems, and workflow edge cases.
- Ability to go deeper than roadmap creation: you can reason through system architecture, data models, automation logic, edge cases, and what needs to be custom-built versus bought or configured.
- Strong program judgment: the ability to turn ambiguity into structure, make tradeoffs visible, drive decisions, and hold teams accountable without relying on formal authority.
- Clear written and verbal communication with executives, operators, analysts, administrators, and engineers.
- Comfort operating independently in a fast-moving environment where the system, process, and ownership model may all be evolving.
Especially Valuable
- Experience designing systems where LLMs or agents are first-class users, including permissions, memory or context, human approval points, observability, and failure modes.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, JavaScript, or lightweight scripting for analysis, prototyping, validation, debugging, or automation.
- Experience with marketing automation, sales engagement, enrichment, routing, customer-success, finance, or workflow-orchestration platforms.
- Experience in API-first SaaS, communications infrastructure, usage-based businesses, or technically complex B2B environments.
What Success Looks Like
In the first 90 days, you will:
- Build a current-state technical map of Telnyx’s GTM systems, including ownership, integrations, data flows, automations, dependencies, failure modes, active initiatives, and unresolved decision gaps.
- Establish a prioritized roadmap for the highest-leverage CRM, automation, data-quality, workflow-engineering, and AI-agent-readiness opportunities.
- Deliver implementation-ready requirements for priority initiatives, including system design, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, success metrics, launch criteria, adoption needs, rollback paths, and operational support models.
- Ship or directly drive measurable improvement in at least one high-friction workflow, such as routing, handoffs, CRM data quality, service orders, reporting, enrichment, lifecycle automation, or agent-assisted work.
- Use AI and automation in your own operating model to accelerate discovery, documentation, analysis, QA, stakeholder updates, and program execution.
Over time, success means:
- Telnyx has a clear product roadmap for its AI-native GTM operating system
- CRM, workflow, and automation investments are driven by user needs, business impact, and system scalability
- High-friction GTM workflows are continuously improved, shipped, measured, and iterated
- Repeated manual work becomes owned system logic, durable automation, or agent-assisted workflow
- Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, RevOps, and Engineering operate from cleaner data, clearer ownership, and more reliable systems
- Engineers spend less time on reactive GTM systems issues because requirements, ownership, and operating paths are clearer
- AI agents and automation can depend on clean data, safe integrations, clear permissions, reliable workflow rules, and well-defined approval boundaries
- Revenue teams spend less time maintaining systems and more time acting on trusted customer intelligence
Why This Role Matters
Telnyx is building the next version of its GTM operating system: one where revenue teams and AI agents can work from trusted data, clear workflows, and safe automation surfaces. This role owns the product direction for that future. You will help turn fragmented GTM processes into durable systems, reduce manual work, and build the foundation for a more intelligent, automated, and scalable revenue engine.
How We Work
We value ownership, technical curiosity, direct communication, and measurable outcomes. The strongest candidates are equally comfortable facilitating a cross-functional decision, reviewing a system design, tracing a broken workflow, documenting a launch plan, and ensuring that a change is adopted after it ships.
