Guest Experience Architect
BOLT FARM is building America's most iconic romantic luxury retreat brand: nature-immersed, high-experience, and emotionally transformative. Backed by 3,300+ five-star reviews, 1M+ followers, and features across Forbes, Travel + Leisure, and Netflix, we're scaling from a high-performing flagship into a national portfolio. If you want to operate at the ground floor of a brand with real momentum, high standards, and a team obsessed with doing it right, this is your seat. 🚀
From Seth, our CEO: I want every guest to feel known before they arrive, and I want that to be true whether it's one couple or forty, which is a design problem before it's a hospitality problem.
The Mandate
We're looking for ONE person to design how a Bolt Farm stay works, then build it and run it live.
This is not a strategy role. It is not consulting. It is not a seat where you produce a deck and someone else executes it. You design it, you build it, you watch real couples use it on Saturday night, and you rewrite it Monday.
The Archetype: The Prototyper
We call this seat the Prototyper, because the person who wins here builds v1 before the meeting about v1.
They start from the human, not the process. They can describe a specific person's experience minute by minute before they draw a single workflow.
They build in days. They have taken an idea to a working version inside a week, and can tell us what week that was.
They kill their own work. They have shipped something, seen the data, and replaced it. Attachment to their own design is the failure mode they have already outgrown.
The Only Three Things That Matter
Have you built something real? Not proposed. Not scoped. Built. Side projects and personal builds count double here. Speed counts: "I built it in a week" beats "I led a two-year rollout."
Did anyone else use it? A thing you built that only you ever touched is a hobby. A thing other humans adopted is the signal.
Can you design for feeling, not just function? Tell us about a moment you designed that made a specific person feel something specific, and how you knew it landed.
What You Own
The design of the entire guest journey: pre-arrival intake through the T+180d check-in
The Dreamweaver, Host, and Guest Communications teams who execute the design
The wow architecture: four standardized wows plus one creative wow per stay, and the system that guarantees delivery
Personalization at scale: turning intake data into a stay that feels hand-built
The AI layer of guest operations, and the judgment call on where warmth requires a human
Service recovery design, including what changes upstream after every failure
Weekly iteration driven by review trends, survey data, and what you watch happen on property
Rebooking, loyalty, and enhancement revenue as outputs of better design
Why This Is the Best Seat on Earth
You will design for people who booked specifically to reconnect with someone they love, and you will get to watch it work in real time on a property you can walk in ten minutes. 3,300+ five-star reviews mean the raw material is proven. We are scaling from a $32M flagship toward a $200M+ portfolio, so the design language you set becomes the brand's standard everywhere. Nobody in luxury hospitality is building this way yet. That window is open right now and it will not stay open.
No Gates. Only Signal.
No degree required. No hospitality background required. No minimum years required. Nonlinear and self-taught backgrounds are a positive signal here, not something to explain away.
"I can't show you, it belonged to my previous employer" is a red flag. Builders build for themselves too.
