Guest Service Agent

Embassy Suites by Hilton Akron Canton Airport is hiring a friendly, energetic part-time Guest Service Agent to join our front desk team. If you have hotel, front desk, customer service, hospitality, retail, restaurant, or call center experience, we’d love to meet you. New to hotels? No problem. We provide paid training. Embassy Suites is a Hilton brand known for its all-suite rooms, free made-to-order breakfast, and evening reception, so you’ll be the first friendly face guests see.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in guests with a warm, professional welcome
• Check guests out and process payments accurately (cash, credit card, and room charges)
• Answer phones, respond to guest questions, and take reservations
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and with a positive attitude
• Use the property management system (PMS) to manage reservations, room assignments, and billing
• Share information about hotel amenities, the evening reception, and local Akron and Canton attractions, dining, and airport transportation
• Work with housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage teams to keep guests happy
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and welcoming
• Follow all hotel safety, security, and cash handling procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in front desk, hotel, hospitality, customer service, retail, or call center preferred (not required)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills; hotel software experience is a plus
• Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 25 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
