Guest Service Agent

About the Job

Aloft Knoxville West is hiring a friendly, energetic Guest Service Agent to join our front desk team. If you have hotel front desk, customer service, hospitality, or retail experience, or you’re looking to start a hospitality career, we want to meet you. Responsibilities

• Greet and check in guests with a warm, professional welcome
• Check guests out and process payments accurately (cash, credit card, and room charges)
• Answer phones, respond to guest questions, and make reservations
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and with a positive attitude
• Use the property management system (PMS) to manage reservations, room assignments, and billing
• Provide information about hotel amenities and local Knoxville attractions and dining
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to keep rooms ready and guests happy
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby
• Follow all hotel safety, security, and cash handling procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in front desk, hotel, hospitality, customer service, call center, or retail preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills; hotel software experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
