Summary

Greet and register customers at a furniture store, directing them to appropriate staff while providing friendly, professional service.

Job purpose

As the first point of contact for our customers, the Greeter plays a vital role in creating an exceptional first impression. This position is responsible for warmly welcoming every guest, engaging them in friendly conversation, and ensuring they begin their shopping experience feeling valued and excited to explore our showroom.

The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, polished, and thrives in a customer-focused environment. This individual must be comfortable standing for extended periods, enjoy interacting with people from all backgrounds, and possess excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time position with Saturday availability required.

  • Create a memorable first impression by providing outstanding hospitality and customer service.
  • Quickly and accurately register customer information using the company's guest management system.
  • Engage customers in friendly conversation while efficiently collecting information.
  • Direct guests to the appropriate Design Consultant or department based on their shopping needs.
  • Answer basic questions about the store, services, and amenities.
  • Support the Guest Services team in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance and positive attitude throughout each shift.
  • Represent the company's commitment to hospitality and world-class service.
