Guesthouse Manager | Northern Cape | Self-Catering Guesthouse
Salary: R35,000 – R40,000 per month | Live-in
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and hands-on Guesthouse Manager for a self-catering guesthouse in the Northern Cape.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service, housekeeping and property presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations and management of the guesthouse.
Manage guest enquiries, reservations, check-ins and check-outs.
Ensure excellent guest relations and handle any guest concerns professionally.
Supervise housekeeping, maintenance and general property upkeep.
Manage staff, schedules and operational requirements.
Monitor stock levels, supplies and purchasing.
Ensure the property is well maintained and presented to a high standard.
Manage administrative duties and operational reporting.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Guesthouse, Lodge or Hospitality Management role.
Strong leadership, organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and guest relations abilities.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the property.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
Salary: R35,000 – R40,000 per month, live-in.
