About The Role:

As our skilled GUI Designer/Developer with expertise, you’ll utilize C++, Linux, Qt, and X11 optimization to create efficient, responsive user interfaces for our software.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with teams to gather project and user requirements
• Design and develop Qt-based GUIs optimized for X11 systems
• Implement interfaces using Qt widgets, layouts, and stylesheets for a consistent UX
• Enhance GUI performance via asynchronous rendering, hardware acceleration, and resource management
• Conduct usability testing and refine designs based on feedback
• Keep current with Qt updates and best practices
• Work with backend developers to integrate UI with systems and APIs
• Document design standards, optimizations, and best practices
• Provide technical support and guidance on GUI development

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
• Proficient in C++ and Qt (Widgets, QML, Qt Quick)
• Strong Linux knowledge
• Solid understanding of X11 architecture and experience with Xlib, XCB, or similar
• Familiar with version control tools like Git
