Hagerstown Customer Returns - Clerk, Warehouse

Position Overview
A returns clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, processing and documenting returned merchandise. This position ensures returned merchandise are accurately evaluated, inventoried and processed.
Essential Job Functions

Receive returned merchandise.

Inspect returned item for damage/defects.

Determine disposition of returned products.

Process returns in WMS

Verify authorization numbers and supporting documentation

Prepare vendor return shipments when required.

Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records

Maintain databases

Answers the telephone and answers questions and gives direction when needed

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Performs a variety of tasks

Other duties as assigned
