Hairstylist

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented, creative, and customer-oriented Hairstylist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hairstyling, strong technical skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while ensuring clients look and feel their best.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their hairstyle preferences, needs, and expectations.
• Perform haircuts, hairstyling, blow-drying, and hair treatments.
• Provide hair coloring, highlighting, perming, re-bonding, and other chemical services, where qualified.
• Recommend suitable hairstyles, hair care products, and treatments based on clients’ hair types and conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the salon, workstations, and equipment.
• Build and maintain good relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits.
• Stay updated on the latest hairstyling trends, techniques, and products.
• Assist with daily salon operations, appointment scheduling, and product recommendations.
• Follow salon safety standards and ensure a professional working environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in hairstyling, hairdressing, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Hairstylist is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of haircutting, styling, coloring, and hair care techniques.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good personal grooming and a professional attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
