Halal Officer (Full Time/ Permanent Part Time)

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• Liaise with MUIS & MUI on all matters related to Halal certification and compliance.
• Maintain, review and update Halal documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Verify and endorse original invoices and delivery orders for all raw materials.
• Ensure that Halal certificates for all raw materials are valid and up to date.
• Conduct sampling and inspections of incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with the Halal certification requirements.
• Plan and deliver training sessions for relevant personnel on Halal requirements.
• Conduct regular internal Halal audits and prepare corresponding reports.
• Provide advice on Halal-related matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Entry-level candidates with a background of Food Science & Technology, or good knowledge of Halal requirements, are welcome.
• Possession of Halal Competency Assessment (HCA) certification is an added advantage.
• Permanent part-timers are welcome.
